Sea Island enjoys an equidistant location (approximately 80 miles north of Jacksonville and 80 miles south of Savannah) between Jacksonville and Savannah International Airports. The Brunswick Golden Isles Airport is a short, thirty-minute drive from the west. McKinnon Airport is located right on St. Simons Island, and is just minutes away from The Lodge and The Cloister.

Directions to The Cloister at Sea Island

From Jacksonville
   • Take I-95 North from Jacksonville. Merge RIGHT onto US-17 N/GA-25 N via exit number 29 
     toward Jekyll Island/St. Simons/Sea Island/Brunswick. 
   • Drive 9.7 miles and turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto F.J. Torras Causeway.
   • Drive 4.4 miles over the causeway and turn LEFT at the first light onto Sea Island Causeway.
   • Drive on Sea Island Causeway to the first light (Sea Island Stables will be on your left).
   • Go straight on the Causeway, through the Security Gate.
   • Drive over the bridge and take the second RIGHT onto First Street.
   • The Cloister Center will be on your right.

From Savannah
   • Take I-95 South from Savannah.
   • Exit I-95 on Exit #38 (North Golden Isles Parkway).
   • Turn LEFT onto Golden Isles Parkway (Spur 25 South).
   • Drive 4.7 miles and turn RIGHT onto US 17 South.
   • Drive 1.6 miles and turn LEFT on the F.J. Torras Causeway.
   • Drive 4.4 miles over the causeway and turn LEFT at the first light onto Sea Island Causeway.
   • Drive on Sea Island Causeway to the first light.
   • Sea Island Stables will be on your left.
   • Go straight on the Causeway, through the Security Gate.
   • Drive over the bridge and take the second RIGHT onto First Street.
   • The Cloister Center will be on your right.

Directions to The Lodge at Sea Island

From Jacksonville
   • Take I-95 North from Jacksonville.
   • Exit I-95 N at Exit #29 toward Jekyll Island/St. Simons/Sea Island/Brunswick and turn RIGHT 
     on (U.S. Hwy. 17/82 North (Golden Isles Parkway).
   • Turn RIGHT at light onto F.J. Torras Causeway.
   • Drive 4.4 miles over the causeway and after crossing Frederica River Bridge veer RIGHT at first road
     called Kings Way.
   • Go straight through a flashing light, at the next red light take a RIGHT at (Retreat Avenue), which is the
     entrance to The Lodge.
   • Continue straight into The Avenue of the Oaks and drive up to the gate entryway.

From Savannah
   • Take I-95 South from Savannah.
   • Exit I-95 on Exit #38 (North Golden Isles Parkway).
